Emily lost her first front tooth today. She was so excited when it was hanging by a thread when she woke up. When I showed her this picture, she said, "I look wierd." I think it's cute though.

Angela's Preschool Graduation

Angela had her preschool graduation this past week. She was so cute in her graduation cap and I could tell she really knew the songs. She got very animated a few times which is unusual for her, so I was very proud. Her teacher this year was Amy Roloff who’s family is featured on the show Little People, Big World on TLC. They filmed at the preschool one day and at the graduation. They also filmed at the end of the year party the next day at the Roloff Farms. Angela had so much fun. It was such a fun place for kids to play. Angela has really enjoyed having Amy for a teacher. So, Angela may end up on TV next fall. I'll let you know if I find out in advance what day it will be on. I can’t believe she’s going to kindergarten next year, but I’m very excited for her.

Wahclella Falls
On Saturday we hiked to Wahclella Falls in the Columbia Gorge. The Columbia Gorge is one of my favorite places and I thought I had been to all the waterfalls there, but I recently heard about this one and heard that it's a great one for kids, so we decided to go try it. It was really fun! It was 2 miles round trip and I was very impressed how well the kids did. There was lots of water and bridges along the way to keep them interested.

Mother's Day

I had a great Mother's Day this year. On Thursday I went to Angela's Preschool for a Mother's Day Tea Party. They sang some cute songs and she was so excited for me to be there.
On Friday I drove up to Seattle by myself and stayed overnight at my friend Traci's house. I went to her baby shower and got to visit with friends from my old ward there. On Saturday we did girl things; shopping, lunch and pedicure. It was fun to be away from the kids for awhile and I came home feeling refreshed.
On Sunday, I loved getting all the notes and gifts from Emily and Angela that they have been working on all week and hiding from me. Matthew made a yummy breakfast and after church we visited with my family and then Matthew's to wish our mom's a Happy Mother's Day. I am very grateful for my mom and to be a mother myself. It's the best job in the world!

I really wanted to get a good picture of me with the girls, but it's so hard to get them all looking and smiling at the same time. Oh well.

Nicole

Nicole is 15 months old. Do I need to say anything else? For Nicole, 15 months old means busy, constantly teething, separation anxiety, loves to get into everything (especially the bathroom), the beginning of tantrums, inability to share, etc. But she is also adorable, loves to be silly, give lots of hugs, and learning new things everyday. We love her!
Sweet Sisters

I took this picture on Easter. It's impossible to get a good picture of Nicole right now because she goes crazy over the camera, so that is why she's not in this picture. Emily and Angela really are sweet to each other. I love watching Emily take care of Angela. But yes they are normal and they fight a lot too.
Jennifer and Ellen come to visit

My sister Jennifer and her baby Ellen came to visit a couple of weeks ago and it was so fun to meet Ellen and spend time with them. Emily and Angela loved holding her and playing with her. Nicole didn't want anything to do with her and she really didn't like it when I held her. I guess she was jealous. It was pretty funny.
