My Little Chef

Emily loves to cook. She is always begging me to teach her how to make things and help me cook. Her specialty is instant pudding. She can do that without any help. She also likes to mix together ingredients to make her own recipes. One morning recently she was begging me to make pancakes for breakfast and I didn't have time so she insisted that she could do it herself. She actually did a really great job and I really didn't help one bit, I didn't even tell her how to do it. I went to take a shower and when I came back, she was flipping away. She suprised me with being able to flip the pancakes without making a huge mess.

Boating

We went boating with my parents and sisters a few days ago and had a great time. It wasn't a very warm day, but the sun finally came out and we had a good time anyway. I waterskiied and the girls had so much fun tubing. Emily was so brave! And even Nicole wanted a ride on the tube for a few minutes.

Nicole's Goggles

I had to post this funny picture. Nicole loves to wear the girls' goggles. I am amazed at how long she will walk around the house in them. It is the same with bicycle helmets, sunglasses, etc. She wants to be a big girl!

New Paint

We just got our house painted, so here's a before and after picture. I'm really happy with how it turned out!

Emily is 7!

Emily turned 7 on Sunday! She is a joy to have in our family. She is so sweet and helpful with her sisters and gets along well with everyone.Here are some pictures from our family gathering on her birthday.
