Christmas 2010: Cousins and Family



Matthew and I both had sisters that came in town with their families for most of Christmas Break, so it was a busy two weeks spending lots of time with them and celebrating Christmas and birthdays.

Matthew's family had Christmas Eve dinner at a church and the kids enjoyed riding around the gym on scooters.

We had Christmas day dinner at my parents with my grandparents.

It was fun that Emily and Angela wanted to participate in playing some Christmas songs for us.

We celebrated my sister's birthday with pedicures and lunch.

One evening, the kids found all the dress up clothes at my mom's and they did a fashion show for us. They kept coming downstairs in different outfits.

Our girls sure had fun with their cousins.

Christmas was 3 months ago, but here's a quick recap.

Santa brought a Wii-the girls were pretty excited about that.

Nicole wanted a baby in a backpack

Angela was excited about her new clothes and her own camera.

Emily has been having fun doing her hair and got her own hot rollers.

Santa also brought Band Hero and we spent New Year's Eve playing it together. We love it!

Funny story about my gift: Our vacuum broke down a month before Christmas and I really wanted a nice vacuum for Christmas, but Matthew said no way, that's one of those Christmas gifts men get in trouble for. So he got me something else that was a great idea, but we decided it wasn't really going to work in our house. Then I convinced him we needed to go buy a vacuum anyway, so I got a very nice vacuum and I love it! I actually really enjoy vacuuming now.
