Nicole

We have found Nicole in some funny sleeping positions lately.

Sometimes she really likes to help me do things like make beds and put things away.
Lately she also likes to put silverware away. It's a great way to keep her busy for a minute.

Snow

We had a surprise snowstorm in December, so the kids ran out to play.
Here they are in their new hats and scarves from Gram.

Christmas 2009 Catch-Up

This is quite late, but here are some pictures from our Christmas. We had a fun, busy Christmas break with siblings from both families in town. We celebrated 2 birthdays, a baby blessing, my sister's first trip to the temple, a family photo shoot, movie nights, game nights, and cousin playdates, besides the usual Christmas festivities.

We decorated gingerbread houses with cousins.

We went to a Christmas Eve Party with Matthew's extended family. Here is Ashley dressed in Christmas attire.

These two were so cute running around with each other.

Nana brought scooters for the kids to ride around with after they finished eating. It kept everyone entertained!

Emily was the narrator for the nativity.

Emily was so excited to get roller blades since all the other kids in the culdesac have them.

The girls had the idea to get Matthew root beer for Christmas.

Nicole loves Barbies!

Curly Hair

We have been experimenting with the girls sleeping in sponge curlers. It actually started with a babysitter (thanks Emma :) and we have done it a few times since. This is right after we took them out one morning. They love how they look like Shirley Temple. They won't let me brush their hair out right away. After a few days, it relaxes and looks really pretty.

Family Pictures

My talented friend took our family pictures last month and it was so fun! There were so many great pictures. Now I just need to decide how to arrange them on the wall.

Not Your Baby

Nicole has always been very possessive of baby Ashley. When other kids come over to her in the carseat, Nicole will run over and put her arms around it like she is protecting it. Today Matthew picked up Ashley and said, "How's my baby?" Nicole said, "Not your baby, Mommy's baby." We all thought that was pretty funny!
