Emily loves to cook. She is always begging me to teach her how to make things and help me cook. Her specialty is instant pudding. She can do that without any help. She also likes to mix together ingredients to make her own recipes. One morning recently she was begging me to make pancakes for breakfast and I didn't have time so she insisted that she could do it herself. She actually did a really great job and I really didn't help one bit, I didn't even tell her how to do it. I went to take a shower and when I came back, she was flipping away. She suprised me with being able to flip the pancakes without making a huge mess.

Ooooh, that could DEFINITELY come in handy! :) That is SO great!! Kaden loves to cook too... but we haven't gotten to that point yet where he can be unsupervised, he's a bit messy!! :)
What a sweet girl. Jake loves to "help" cook, but it usually ends up with a bigger mess for me. Maybe in a few years I'll get help with breakfast.
It was good to hear from you. I can't believe Emily is 7. Where does time go? All your kids have grown so much. Looks like you are enjoying family and had fun boating. Keep in touch!
Holy cow! Can I have Emily stay with me for a few days? Who doesn't love having breakfast made for them? Especially at age seven, that's incredible!
