Soccer

Emily is playing soccer again this year. Her skills are improving, but she's not enjoying it as much as I'd hoped. It's getting hard to get her to go to the games. She always has fun at practice, but I think that's because she likes goofing off with her friends. She'll probably do a different sport next year, but for the meantime, we are enjoying being outside and cheering her on!

I love little kids playing soccer. They crack me up!!! Hopefully Emily with appreciate the sport for more than the treats. Keep it up!

How fun! I love soccer!! I was quite surprised when Kaden asked to do flag-football this fall. He's asking to do tennis... or hockey... in the spring. I guess he just wants to be well-rounded. He tries his best at sports too, but the most important thing is they are having fun, right? I'm glad you've been enjoying the last few glimpses of warm weather, it looks like you all have a really fun summer!!

Too funny! This is Kenzie's first year of soccer and at first her respone was much the same as Emily's. but now, she's getting progressively more fired up. there's mostly boys on the team and lots of the parents would comment that she looks like a ballerina out on the field . . . tiptoeing or skipping or running daintily up to the ball! but now she loves it! who knows if next year will be soccer or ballet!!!
