Strange Behavior

Every once and awhile it seems like the kids do something that shows maybe they are actually learning something from all the nagging and reminding. It seems like even though I am always reminding them to fold their clothes before they go back in the drawer, put their coat and backpack away when they get home from school, don't leave socks and shoes all over the house, etc, etc, usually there are dirty clothes crumpled in the drawers, socks and shoes all over the house, you know what I mean. On school days, Emily sets her clothes out for the next day so it's easy to get ready in the morning, but usually they are in a crumpled heap and look wrinkly the next day. However on Saturday night, my sister was over hanging out with me so when they went to bed and I could tell they were in the mood to be sneaky and not go right to sleep, I ignored them. When I went to bed later, I saw this right outside their room.

I almost started laughing out loud, it surprised me so much. Their church clothes all folded and ready, hairbow and all. Maybe they have more organizational skills than I thought they did!

They thought of everything! right down to the hair bows and undies! :) Too cute!

Knowing their mother I'm sure they really are organized under all that normal kid behavior.

Send them over to my house--maybe they can teach my boys.
