Sunriver 2010

We ended the summer with a trip to Sunriver with my family. My sister and her family also came from California. We had a great time together. It was a great time of year to be in Sunriver, the pools weren't crowded at all and it wasn't too hot during the day. After looking at all the pictures, now I know why it was so exhausting- we did a lot in 4 days! (Actually I think it was because we had a 1 year old with us.) But we did pack a lot in!

My parents rented a great house with lots of space.

It's funny that even being in a place like Sunriver where there are so many fun things to do, the kids still really enjoy going to the park. I think we came here at least once a day.
The tire swing was the favorite. Emily came home feeling sick one time she had spun so much.

The girls couldn't figure out how to get across this thing, so Matthew and I experimented with ways to get across. The kids eventually figured it out and after almost bruising my shins, I realized why playground equipment is not for adults.

We made a trip to the stables. Angela had a pony ride.
Nicole decided she didn't want to ride the pony.
Emily was too old for pony rides, so her, Matthew, Jennifer, and Michelle, went for a 30 minute horse trail ride. Emily loved her first horse riding experience.

After the guys were gone golfing for half a day, us girls went out for dinner.
We also went for a hike to Benham falls. It was fun to be in nature with my mom and sister.

We went swimming on the warmer days. The kids spent most of the time waiting in line to go down the slide.

I hung out in the kiddie pool with Ashley and Nicole most of the time.

Jennifer got in the hot tub with all the kids at 7:30am one morning. Why not, we're on vacation?
Out to ice cream, yummy!
The house had a pool table off the garage, Ashley loved crawling around on it.

Matthew taught the girls how to play pool. Although not with sticks yet.

We played cards.

And Bingo with pictures of our family.

And went for LOTS of bike rides.

Bike ride with Grandma
My dad brought their tandem bike and took Emily and Angela for rides on it.

Aunt Michelle loves to tickle the girls.

The 6 granddaughters!
The whole group minus my sister on a mission.

What a fun time to spend with your family. I can't believe there are no boys in your family, but you sure have some beautiful girls.
